ODI Trade - Lay Pakistan - second innings

Well, I didn't see that coming. Pakistan hit 4 of the first ball and then lost 3 wickets in quick succession for 11/3. The result was that I ended up having only 25% of my lay stake matched. The Pakistan price moved out very rapidly and never came down to a price a I felt comfortable to lay out before a wicket took it back out again.

A case of what could have been. but for the sake of a couple of ticks of lay liability a profitable trade could have been an extremely profitable trade. I topped up with a lay on Sri Lanka at 1.3 which drifted out to 1.7 as Pakistan upped the run-rate. I hedged up with 20 over to go as didn't feel there was an need for the stress of being on the wrong side of  a Pakistan come back.

I'm feeling increasingly confident with the lay the batting side strategy in ODI internationals but will be trading a few more before I significantly up the stakes.
