Overall a poor days racing. Worst case scenario really, early horses placing with out any winners which meant I lost the win side of the doubles AND the lay insurance bets. The 2 short price horses in the last let me down and prevented close to scratch on my doubles. This strategy relies on getting a win or a close 4th/5th to work best, 2nd and 3rd is really their to scratch the doubles.

Plenty of days when this does work and no reason to question the strategy at this point.

Net loss for the day £111.54. Had it gone my way then it could have been fantastic. You have to embrace the risk. Overall I'm happy with my approach and felt I managed my risk well throughout the day.
