Tennis
I need to find an edge and trading rules. I'm unclear about why I'm entering and leaving a market and fast discovering that hope is not an effective strategy.
Cricket
I love T20. I had a blast trading the domestic Australian game this morning, making just shy of £100 in the process. Whilst the commentary was very entertaining and the quality of cricket on display fantastic, the trade itself was far from comfortable with the batting site making 110 before the first wicket. I had laid in stages down to 1.20 but the lack of wickets and excellent run rate meant there were no meaning full up swings to take advantage off. I held my nerve and has expected the game finished with both sides in with a chance of a a win on the last ball. I was out with good profit before the 19th over.
More of the same tomorrow please.
Football
I think I'm on to winner with the correct score trades netting £226 in a single game this morning for £50 stakes . There is definite potential for good returns here as I've seen with Gian's accounts. However when it goes against you it can be very costly. I found my self on the wrong side of all three goals in the Modena match. Having hedged out but not matched before the first (a penalty) I lost £50, I then lost £100 on the equaliser and £150 on the winner, all from a position where I was +£70, 4 mins before. Whilst it is OK to go into the new correct score market after a goal it does carry a heavy financial risk if there are goals in quick succession, particularly in a game that looked like it was over. My trading plan does allows me to trade 3 score lines after a loss to a maximum exposure of £50 on each and £150 in total. Its just Frustrating that I lost all £150 in such short order!! I must move on and will be straight into another trade this evening.
Horses
Not the best run of form at the moment and another break even day.
